With the maturity of China's pig industry, the degree of intensification is becoming higher and higher, and the competition is becoming more and more fierce. The management of pig breeding groups has become a key link in sustainable production, improving the production efficiency and future competitiveness of pig farms. The weak pig breeding system has always been one of the major challenges faced by pig breeding in China. The 5th (2024) International Pig Breeding Symposium (SRS), organized by NONGyike Technology (Zhengzhou) Co., LTD., will be held in Chengdu on June 17-18, 2024.

       SRS had been successfully held four times before COVID-19. The purpose of the conference is to provide systematic training on the theory and practical skills of pig breeding for employees of pig breeding enterprises. During the COVID period, SRS continued to provide a learning and exchange platform for the Chinese pig industry through more than 30 online lectures, and the learning content was closely integrated with production practice, which was well received by the industry.
